How My Studio Works

My lessons blend technique, creativity, and music literacy, using songs students love to build strong foundational skills. I guide families in setting realistic practice goals, offering clear weekly plans and check-ins. Studio policies prioritize open communication, punctuality, and preparedness, creating a respectful, low-stress environment where students feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and grow as confident, expressive musicians.

My Studio consists of students of all levels, ages, experiences, and walks of life. Music has a wide array of genres, styles, and interests. I use my experience performing within all these spaces to craft lessons to achieve specific goals each student may have. All lessons include instrumental and musicianship foundations, but depending on each students goal, we are able to focus on many or a few specific aspects from the diverse world of music.

Starting young students off with a fun and informed musical foundation to teaching you a piano song you’ve always wanted to learn. We can focus anywhere from learning how to read chords in order to play Bruno Mars to performing Mozart Concertos on the flute and everything in between. If you’re interested in playing Careless Whisper or becoming confident to play at an open jam, my lessons will get you there!
